Risk Assessment

The Risk Assessment is a fundamental part of the existing chemical legislation of the European Union.

The experts of Royal Haskoning can undertake a risk assessment of your productss. Components of this assessment are:

Exposure assessments: emission estimation, behaviour in the environment, estimation of exposure concentrations;
Effect assessment: estimation of effects on the basis of substance's characteristics and concentrations;
Risk characterisation for health as well as the environment

Within the scope of our risk assessement services we anticipate on the changes in the European legislation e.g. REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorisation of Chemicals).

Label and SDS

As producer, importer or supplier of dangerous or hazardous substances you are required to classify and label your products. Besides this it is very important to have adequate information available on how to use or handle the product. Therefore a Safety Data Sheet (SDS) should also accompany your product with the correct risk and safety phrases. Furthermore you are responsible for the safety and well-being of your employees. By using Workplace Safety Cards (WSC) you can inform them properly.

Royal Haskoning has a long history in generating and maintaining these SDS's (multi-lingual and in different legal formats) and WSC's. We also have a lot of experience in validating SDS's and WSC's for a wide variety of products.
